Work and Play is an ideal coworking space for parents of young children who want to find a work/life balance for the next phase of life. With young children, this requires a childcare solution, and when it\'s as flexible as 2 hours per week to 30 hours per week, it really can\'t be beat. That comfort, alone, was huge, and clearly thought-through by a like-minded mom, but that\'s just part one. I learned quickly that the right support system, professionally, is what will truly propel your new career path/new business forward. And this second part is why I will always be a member at Work and Play. The support that is offered to coworkers as they launch career/business 2.0 is outstanding. To start, the owner, Deborah Engel, comes from a PR background and can\'t help but network on behalf of the members here. She makes connections for folks that truly open doors and help to jumpstart businesses. Work and Play also offers networking groups and professional development workshops that quickly fill skill gaps, build confidence and grow networks that prove to be invaluable for new business owners. Deborah works closely with businesses hosting events and workshops here to help them work out kinks in their new ventures. Additionally, a new partnership, launched this past fall, General Store by Work and Play, further engages the merchant/independent producers in our areas to offer them a central online store.... benefiting both the sellers, and the community here that desires to shop local, but depends on online convenience. Everything that Work and Play does just further supports folks here on their pursuit of work/life balance. I\'m genuinely proud to be a part of it. And regularly thank Deborah for her support in helping to launch my business, now in its 3rd year.
