Since 2011 Denver Coworks has been hosting Denver Coworking Week and representing over 70% of the coworking spaces in the area. They hold regular bi-monthly meetings bringing space owners together to share knowledge and to better understand each other communities. Denver Coworking Week was started to promote the coworking idea to the greater community and have had thousands of people partcipate. The strong community and aprtnerships also caused the state to have the first state wide coworking passports and develop new innovative ideas for membership and collaboration between spaces.
CoworkingSA is an alliance representing all 28 coworking businesses in South Australia. We are the first state-based coworking alliance of our kind in Australia, and hope to be a blueprint for other states and territories. In the spirit of collaboration, we believe that “a rising tide lifts all boats”. We pool talent, ideas and resources to raise awareness of coworking, and advocate for the industry with Government and Corporates. We have consulted with Government to ensure coworking spaces are prioritized for the rollout of high speed internet and worked with News Limited to have a “Best Coworking Space” category added to the City Awards for Adelaide. We also help people find their perfect coworking space.
The board of CoworkingSA is made up of coworking business owners, community managers and the leadership of Adelaide’s Startup Ecosystem.
Some of the strategies for CoworkingSA include:
•Champion innovation, creativity and collaboration in South Australia
•Create a direct line of communication with the 650 startups/SMEs working in coworking spaces in our jurisdiction
•Foster relationships with other collectives/alliances around the world
•Share best practice coworking operational methodologies between coworking spaces
•Help new entrant’s to the market to attract members and reach profitability fast
•Continue to raise awareness of coworking via media, events participation and traditional business networks, associations and chambers of commerce
•Become a beacon of optimism for the future of work and the entrepreneurial spirit
We have achieved a lot since our incorporation in July 2016. So to celebrate, we are holding a CoworkingSA Party to officially launch our alliance. In consultation with City of Adelaide’s innovation team, the CoworkingSA Party will be a feature of the upcoming Entrepreneurs Week event in July 2017 - serendipitous timing for our first birthday.
Coworking Québec is a collective of spaces that aims at promoting Coworking as a new model of working, with an impact on all participating spaces.
This year, our action was to create the #CoworkingWeek, during which more than 30 participating spaces opened their doors freely and hosted at least one activity. With the support of Ashley Proctor, we managed to get CoworkingBC and CoworkingToronto to join us to create the very first pancanadian coworking week, with more than 100 spaces opening their doors!!
We're targetting more provinces and coworking spaces for 2018.
The mission of the Seattle Collaborative Space Alliance (SCSA) is to unify, support and promote the coworking and collaborative space movement. We are a distributed community of space owners, manager, members and community catalysts who share a passion for coworking and collaboration in and around the Seattle metro area.
Seventy-five locations. Ten countries. Five continents. One ultimate coworking experience.
We are the League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces—but you can call us LExC (lek-see), for short. Simply put, LExC is a global network of coworking spaces with common standards of excellence—the world’s first reliable, seamless network of coworking spaces, offering member coworkers 5 reciprocal visits per space, per year, at any LExC space. As the global voice of quality coworking, we independently review each applicant based on merit and alignment with our values—it’s not about a trend, it’s about longevity and integrity. From influential cities like Los Angeles and New York, to Paris, Singapore, and Melbourne, all LExC spaces are evaluated using highly-competitive criteria: 1) member experience; 2) space design; 3) operating model; 4) diversity; 5) accessibility; and 6) community engagement.

The Satellite Centers are comfortable, connected, professional shared office space and flexible workspace centers in your community. The first Satellite Center was built in Felton to benefit the locals who were commuting over the hill every day. Our community workplaces have grown since that time and continue to encourage people to work where they live. By using The Satellite and cutting out the long drive times to work you not only help the environment but improve your own quality of life and support the community you live in.
In the summer of 2015, several coworking space managers in British Columbia came together to talk about how they could collaborate and help each other to develop the local market. This has grown into a monthly get together, which is part administrative meeting and part social, offering space managers a chance to support each other and get out of their offices!Their first project as a team is an online directory including a BC wide “coworking passport” offering an opportunity to try working for a day at all participating spaces. Proceeds from the pass support the collective, with additional funds to organizing an annual coworking family picnic. This online tool was launched for #coworkingweek 2017.With a concentration of coworking spaces in the lower mainland, but member spaces reaching as far north as Prince George and as far east as Nelson, we strive to create inclusivity across these significant distances.
The Coworking Toronto Collective was formed in January of 2011, and independently operated coworking spaces have been collaborating ever since. We work together to spread the word about coworking, we share best practices to strengthen our unique communities, and by meeting regularly to support one another we are proof that traditional ‘competitors’ can collaborate in the new shared economy.
We want to help build better business communities, spread the word about other movements like Jellys and BarCamps, and help foster collaboration and innovation. Over the years, the Coworking Toronto Collective has launched a Coworking Passport program, Toronto Coworking Week, educational campaigns about coworking, and worked with the Mayor of Toronto to proclaim 'Coworking Toronto Day' in 2014. Toronto is home to some of the first coworking space operators in the world, and the founding members of Coworking Toronto have helped hundreds of spaces around the globe form regional collectives of their own.
IOS OFFICES cares for their members, because of this; we are allied with more than 150 different companies that offer premium services and products with discounts and special benefits for our business community. Each month we increase this list by at least 15 new alliances around Mexico. By working on this list of benefits, we are continuously trying to improve the quality of life of our members, focusing on recreational and business related services that tend to the businessmen lifestyle. Another benefit of having this type of alliances is that members of our own community have the opportunity to showcase and promote their services and products amongst other members, increasing the opportunities to networking and increase business relations. Part of our monthly goals is to have more than 30 events across the country to showcase all the new benefits and for members to interact with the brand as well as with each other. Such events may include product promotion, themed business after hours, cocktail parties, and much more. We also participate in alliances with different chambers of commerce and business organizations that promote growth between companies and businessmen through training sessions, meeting, networking events, etc. Another activity that we are very proud if is our startup ecosystem. We started this activity in order to promote the growth of different startups in Mexico, focusing our efforts in providing a coworking environment that allows entrepreneurs to take advantage of all the benefits of being part of such a large business community. The different events that take place in our business centers are thought out to introduce different projects to companies that fund promising opportunities of growth and success. These alliances allow IOS OFFICES to nurture the talent of young entrepreneurs while offering the opportunity for investors to find projects that they can accelerate. All these alliances make IOS OFFICES the best ally, all while striving to offer spaces that promote networking, well being, productivity and success.
